Well, the day is upon us. The first day of Kindergarten for Emma and Nicholas's first day back to pre-school. I do have to say that I didn't cry when Emma got on the bus. I think it made it easier because she was with friends. She was so excited to ride the bus!

We'll see how she does on her first day. I pick Nicholas up at pre-school at 3pm and then we'll pick up Emma from the bus stop at 4pm. I can't wait to talk to her about it.
My original plan was to do something exciting with my day (I took today off). But really I've just been enjoying the peace and quiet, so I don't think I'll be going anywhere.

I thought our school started early on the 23rd or 25th. Emma was so cute!! Love the t-shirt. I am so proud of you for not crying. Not me. EVERY one of them! And now even my grandkids! A lot of times it IS more exciting to stay home. I LOVE BEING HOME. It is my heaven. Can't wait to hear how it went. Love Aunt Sherie
Can you believe it is that time of year again already! Good job not crying...I hope I can put Katelyn on the bus tomorrow without crying, but I don't think that she will be that lucky!! You know me... How was your day alone? I bet your house was so quiet. I'm not sure what that is like, butI guess I will find out tomorrow! i might have to call you if I get lonely! haha Tayler doesn't exactly make for great conversation! However, she is great for snuggling and hugging!! Can't wait to hear how their first day went!! LOVE YOU!!
good job not crying, that's always a hard day for me although i try not to show it. you guys sure start early! we have a few weeks left and i'm grateful! it's nice when they're excited to go, it makes life easier for you for sure!
i'm glad you had a day of peace and quiet. i USED to have that, and then ethan came along and now i'm nervous about going back to entertaining a toddler all alone - he is going to be so sad when he figures out they're all gone every day and he's back to being stuck with me!

Kids look sooooo cute! Emma is so cute about being so excited about school. Nicki was that way too. She didn't want me to walk her to school when she started KG. She wanted to go with her friend Barbie". I didn't feel too bad since school was just across the street from us in Colorado Springs, Ft. Collins.
I am sure you wont have any trouble filling your days up with the kids gone.
